TERMS & POLICY
PAYMENT
A deposit is required at time of the booking. Before design starts, I will send you an estimated quote. This is only estimated because there may be a promotion going on the date we send files to the printer. The remaining balance must be paid upon approval of the proof prior to production. Payment is accepted via check, cash, or Venmo App
PROOFING
Designer agrees that she will be the sole author of the work, which will be original work and free of plagiarism. Designer will cooperate with client in editing and otherwise reviewing the work prior to completion.
KB Design will provide client with a PDF Proof for review and approval of design. There will be no cost for the PDF proof and the PDF Proof can be revised and edited an unlimited amount of times.
The Client is responsible for accurately proofreading any text provided to KB Designs prior to sending to print. An art approval form will be sent to client for their signature of approval. KB Designs does not take responsibility for any errors found after the signed approval form. Once the client has approved the final proof, we will send to a printer of client(s) choice.
KB Designs cannot guarantee an exact color match for ink colors or paper colors. As these are custom designs, orders are non refundable. If client is not satisfied with the final product, KB Designs will determine a refund based on review, on a case by case basis.
OWNERSHIP OF ARTWORK
All invitations and design materials are copyrighted by Kelsey Bernstein and are the property of KB Designs. Designs may not be reproduced without the written permission of KB Designs. KB Designs retains the right to use the designs for promotional purposes, including online portfolios, Pinterest, Facebook, Websites, etc. The Client may request that any identifying information such as name, address, and phone number be obscured to retain privacy.
USE OF OUTSIDE ARTWORK OR PHOTOS
KB Designs respects the copyright of other designers and will not copy, reproduce or use any elements in a design created by someone else without permission from the creator. If client provides KB Designs with an icon, logo, photo, or other element that cannot be specifically traced to a creator, the Client agrees to indemnify KB Designs against any legal issues that may arise from use.
CONFIDENTIALITY
KB Designs acknowledges that the company may receive or have access to information which relates to the client’s past, present, or future products, vendor lists, creative works, or proprietary information. KB Designs agrees to protect the confidentiality of the clients information and all physical forms thereof, whether disclosed to KB Designs before this agreement is signed or afterward.
CANCELLATION
Both parties understand that client or designer may terminate the service at any time, for any reason that the relationship is deemed unsatisfactory by either party. Upon written or verbal cancellation, client is responsible for a cancellation fee. Should Client cancel the project following its completion, client is responsible for full payment of design fees as per the agreed upon estimate plus all expenses incurred. In the event of cancellation, designer retains ownership of all copyrights and original work created.
